Δεν είναι όλες οι διαδρομές ίδιες. Κάποιες δεν τις κάνεις για να φτάσεις κάπου, αλλά για να τις ζήσεις.
Το Grand Tour της Μονεμβασιάς ανήκει σε αυτές. Είναι τρεις ημέρες που δεν μετριούνται σε αποστάσεις αλλά σε στιγμές, σε μυρωδιές, σε βλέμματα, σε στροφές.

Η αρχή γίνεται στο Kinsterna Hotel, ένα μέρος που δεν σε φιλοξενεί απλώς, σε ταξιδεύει. Εκεί η άφιξη σημαίνει παύση.

Ο χρόνος επιβραδύνει, η ηρεμία αποκτά νόημα.

Τη δεύτερη μέρα αφήνουμε τον τόπο να μας οδηγήσει. Δεν υπάρχει βιασύνη. Αγγίζεις, μυρίζεις, δημιουργείς. Φροντίζεις τα άλογα, φτιάχνεις σαπούνι, τσίπουρο, ψωμί… και κάπως έτσι, χωρίς να το καταλάβεις, βρίσκεσαι μέσα στην ιστορία της Μονεμβασιά.

Και μετά έρχεται η στιγμή που το τιμόνι παίρνει ξανά τον λόγο.

Η Λιμνοθάλασσα Γέρακα, το πάσο του Χάρακα, το Κυπαρίσσι Λακωνίας. Διαδρομές που δεν περιγράφονται εύκολα. Οδηγούνται.
